Package: python3-cairo
Version: 1.10.0+dfsg-4+b1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
I am trying to use cairo with python3-dbg and I get the following error:
python3-dbg -c 'import cairo'
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<string>", line 1, in <module>
File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/cairo/__init__.py", line 18, in <module>
from ._cairo import *
ImportError: No module named 'cairo._cairo'
python3-dbg -c 'import cairo' works well.
By trying to search for the missing file(s), I get:
dpkg -S _cairo.cpython-34m-x86_64-linux-gnu.so
python3-cairo: /usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/cairo/_cairo.cpython-34m-x86_64-linux-gnu.so
python3-gi-cairo: /usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/gi/_gi_cairo.cpython-34m-x86_64-linux-gnu.so
dpkg -S _cairo.cpython-34dm-x86_64-linux-gnu.so
python3-gi-dbg: /usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/gi/_gi_cairo.cpython-34dm-x86_64-linux-gnu.so
So I am wondering if a package called python3-cairo-dbg would not be missing in the Debian repositories.
