My point was how wrong your "there is still a month to the freeze" was.
And as a matter of fact, the freeze did already start 1.5 months ago
with the transition freeze.

I'm glad I am not involved with any of the affected packages.
3 days before Christmas Eve is approximately the worst time of the year
when you need something urgently from other people.

In practice, "for now" means "forever".
Do you really want to recommend to people to disable failing tests
in cases where these are showing real bugs in the code?
