Dear Maintainer,

The change uploaded in 2.8.7-3 that closes #814622 and reverts the
change from 2.8.7-2 causes a critical regression in the DEP-8 tests on
Ubuntu, where only Python 3.5 exists. Once Debian drops Python 3.4,
you will see the same regression there.

The failure is caused by there now being no Python 3 module in
dist-packages for the python3-pytest binary package.

I don't believe the change in 2.8.7-3 is correct, but since you
disagree, please ensure that the package builds and passes DEP-8 on
systems that only have Python 3.5, such as Ubuntu 16.04.
