I'd be willing to help maintain whoosh, but only with DPMT as Maintainer and
myself as Uploader.

Given the ongoing discussion over in debian-python@ it might not be worth
git-dpm'ifying it, but instead just moving the vcs branch over to the team
repo.  If this is acceptable, let me know.
