Package: python3-ldap3
Version: 1.2.2-1
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

It's wonderful you have ldap3 packaged for Debian. There is now much
newer version (currently v2.2.1 ) available at
https://github.com/cannatag/ldap3/

with very many fixes and improvements, see:
https://ldap3.readthedocs.io/changelog.html

It's in my currenty project the only python library that makes Debian
feel a bit antiquated, so I would be super joyed to see a newer version
in Debian.
