Package: ftp.debian.org
Severity: normal
Control: affects -1 src:python-async
I think python-async should be removed from unstable:
* it was removed from testing 18 months ago due to a 2016 RC bug
with no response (FTBFS on single-core CPUs, #834917)
* it can't work in Python >= 3.7 where its name is a reserved word
(#904492)
* its README says "Please do not use this project"
* its popcon is not particularly high (338 installs) and is declining
* nothing in unstable depends on it, according to dak
* it was not released in the latest Debian stable
Thanks,
smcv
