[Python-modules-team] Python 3 and python-gd?

Hey folks,

I'm looking for some help/advice.

I'm using python-gd for visualisation in a project that I'm just
moving over to python 3. I'm seeing a lack of python-gd there, which
is a problem. It looks like upstream has gone very quiet, too. :-( Am
I being naive in hoping that python 3 support might be easy to add...?
