Package: python3-flask-sqlalchemy
Version: 2.1-4
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
The version of flask-sqlalchemy currently packaged in Debian is quite
old, and gives some deprecation warnings when used with the latest
version of sqlalchemy in Debian:
/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/sqlalchemy/dialects/sqlite/base.py:1453: SADeprecationWarning: The create_engine.convert_unicode parameter and corresponding dialect-level parameters are deprecated, and will be removed in a future release. Modern DBAPIs support Python Unicode natively and this parameter is unnecessary.
default.DefaultDialect.__init__(self, **kwargs)
/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/flask_sqlalchemy/__init__.py:169: SADeprecationWarning: Use .persist_selectable
info = getattr(mapper.mapped_table, 'info', {})
These warnings disappear if I install the latest 2.4.1 from pip.
