[Python-modules-team] question regarding rgain / rgain3

Hello!
I just discovered the rgain3 project on github:

And in the Debian repos: 
https://packages.debian.org/stretch/python/python-rgain

But I cannot find any information about if it uses the ReplayGain2.0 
standard [based on the EBU R128/ITU BS.1770 standard (-18 LUFS)] ?

Can you please let me know if that's the case?
And if not, where I can get this information?
