Ah, right -- I think there was some confusion about that, possibly
because /srv/workspace is a 200g partition, but it is a tmpfs.

I think one or both of us managed to assume that /srv/workspace was
where the SSD was mounted, and then when I used it (not noticing the
tmpfs at first) it brought the machine to its knees by filling swap.
