This is definitely wrong.
That file you excluded is basically trying to see
if the diff between the tests that are run, are as per what we expect of
not, with a kind of diff.

You need to save the autopkgtests results in a .Rout file, and zz-check.R will diff and check
It will be similar to how its being done in say, r-cran-bbmle[1] or r-cran-vegan[2]

If you are short on time for fixing this properly,
I will file an RC bug, so we don't loose track of this.
