can you please explain why you added 
  Peter Hickey
  Rob Patro
  NIH NHGRI
  CZI
to your debian/copyright? The last two are just funding organistaions.
Peter Hickey and Rob Patro did not contribute to upstreams repository.
Furthermore you didn't mention Nitesh Turaga though at least he appeared
on the github page.
