Hi Dylan,
Paul was not happy about my upload with test-depends in new. This
was healed automatically but since your upload of version 0.1.8 a
new test-depends is missing:
...
Loading required namespace: xml2
Failed with error: 'there is no package called 'xml2''
-- 1. Error: (unknown) (@test_bagimpute.R#8) ----------------------------------
there is no package called 'modeldata'
Backtrace:
1. base::library(modeldata)
-- 2. Error: (unknown) (@test_basics.R#7) -------------------------------------
there is no package called 'modeldata'
Backtrace:
1. base::library(modeldata)
...
I think its better to exclude the affected tests until the package
is available.
Kind regards
Andreas.

Hi Paul,
I took the freedomto upload a few r-cran-* packages with new
test-depends which are only in new. In this case it is:
https://ftp-master.debian.org/new/r-cran-rsample_0.0.5-1.html
Its probably not the best idea for you and those who are watching test
results closely. However, I would have either needed to patch the tests
to exclude the new dependency or deactivate it just to activate it later
again. So I took the freedom to let those packages temporarily fail the
tests until the new package is accepted (which to my experience went
relatively fast with r-cran-* packages).
I hope you do not consider this procedure as a bad idea. I always
tested the test suite with the package in new and can confirm that
this bug will close automatically.
Kind regards and thanks a lot for your effort about autopkgtest
Andreas.
