Hi!
While working on the “reproducible builds” effort [1], we have noticed
that binutils could not be built reproducibly.
The attached patch contains multiple fixes to debian/rules to fix this
with our current experimental framework.
Ideally, using strip-nondeterminism should not be required, but I did
not find an easy way to pass the `D` flag to `ar`.
