for this, http://pypi.debian.net/diffoscope should be better (it's what
is used in d/watch for python stuff)

I wonder, why not consider canonical
http://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/d/diffoscope/ (pretty much the
same way src:whois does).  Too sad it doesn't keep historical stuff.

And btw, on alioth.d.o could be enable a project feature where you can
upload stuff and do releases (with announcements), but I personally
really dislike that site for a good bunch of reasons.

I'm not sure, the tarballs in pypi are the same of what we uploaded in
the debian archive?
