YES. :)
I've NMUed cdbs already last Sunday and dropped all occurances of
dh-buildinfo from it, so today there are only 3 packages left,
which depend on dh-buildinfo:
- ecbuild
- haskell-devscripts
- debian-multimedia
I do intend to file bugs against those and then NMU as needed to,
and then ask for the removal of dh-buildinfo from unstable.
#1088144 has some more background info and most importantly,
dpkg since 2016 creates .buildinfo files for *all* packages,
while dh-buildinfo is used by only 5% of the archive (mostly
haskell packages and those using cdbs).
I'd like to have dh-buildinfo removed from the archive by the
end of this year.
