I couldn't find a users mailing list to post this on.

I'm wondering whether the update.d/bind script is working like it should
on Debian.  It would appear that it writes the new forwarders directive
to a file in /var/run/bind.  However as far as I can tell, nothing in
Debian's bind9 setup is going to look at that file.

The /etc/bind/named.conf refers to
/etc/bind/(named.conf.local|named.conf.options).  if update.d/bind were
to alter them, I think it would work.

Is this right?  Perhaps there needs to be some debian-aware snippet in
update.d/bind that know for Debian-based systems, to look in the
different place.

If I'm missing something, please let me know.
