[Resolvconf-devel] Bug#629186: fails on installation: mkdir: cannot create directory `/etc/resolvconf/run/interface'

Justification: renders package unusable


Fresh debootstrap-ed 64bit Debian/unstable system as of today,
running apt-get install resolvconf inside it results in:

| Unpacking resolvconf (from .../resolvconf_1.55_all.deb) ...
| mkdir: cannot create directory `/etc/resolvconf/run/interface': No such file or directory
| dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/resolvconf_1.55_all.deb (--unpack):
|  subprocess new pre-installation script returned error exit status 1

Notes:

# ls -la /etc/resolvconf
total 8
drwxr-xr-x  2 root root 4096 Jun  4 10:39 .
drwxr-xr-x 45 root root 4096 Jun  4 10:39 ..
# ls -la /etc/resolvconf/run
ls: cannot access /etc/resolvconf/run: No such file or directory
