Do you have the windows driver installed. If so take a
look for the files e1.ini and lut.plg. They indicate
that the scanner should be supported by the viceo
driver. This is a patch for Sane that you can get from
http://website.lineone.net/~dvnix/scanner/

Take a look and let me know how you get on.
