[sane-devel] Problems with png format when scanning with microtek2 9600xl

Hi all,

problems when scanning LineArt with microtek2 9600xl:
Usage of "png" output format produces a hashed picture,
all other picture formats are OK.

I think this is _no microtek2_ driver problem, but
a problem of a wrong conversion.

My platform: LINUX RedHat 7.1, Kernel 2.4.9
             xsane-0.79
             sane-backends-1.0.5
             sane-frontends-1.0.5
             microtek2:  microtek2_20010828.tar.gz
