[sane-devel] epson 1200 usb hangs

You don't need the vendor and product IDs in modules.conf for any
recent kernel for the 1200... And if you actually add the options
line, you need the 0x prefix, otherwise the values are not recognized.
The 1200 is however already known to the scanner driver, and therefore
the driver recognizes the scanner even if you specify wrong values
in modules.conf. 

... at least that's the theory... If it works for you, keep on 
using it.
