hi there,
I have an old VOBIS HIGHSCREEN REALSCAN (3-Pass) which seems to be a
Microtek-Clone (the label on the bottom says a 'MRS600E3') which is
attached to an AHA152x-SCSI-Controller. In earlier versions of sane (I
guess until 1.0) the scanner worked without problems (microtek-device).
But now I experience problems with sane 1.0.5 and 1.0.6:
(first I tried the 1.0.5, then I removed it and downloaded the 1.0.6
tarball and compiled it -> same error as described below)
If I start a scan or preview, the first of the 3 passes runs through,
but when it starts the second pass, the backend fails (and the frontend
e.g. xsane or xscanimage ends whith a 'float' error (in german:
gleitkommafehler)
I set the SANE_DEBUG_MICROTEK to 128 and rerun the frontend
(xscanimage). as you see in the last lines, there comes a 'SENSE'
message. what does this mean?
