I have been recently trying to use xsane to access my HP scanjet 4C.
I'm running Red Hat 7.1 SCSI system that I had to add a SCSI adapter
board to attach my scanner to. dmesg records this data regarding my
SCSI devices:

0/17/0
(scsi0) Wide Channel, SCSI ID=7, 32/255 SCBs

(scsi1) <Adaptec AIC-7850 SCSI host adapter> found at PCI 0/13/0
(scsi1) Narrow Channel, SCSI ID=7, 3/255 SCBs
(scsi1) Cables present (Int-50 NO, Ext-50 YES)

Upon executing the command xsane in the terminal, I get this message:
xsane: no devices available
What can I do to get my SCSI card and scanner recognized??
Thanks.
