[sane-devel] scan width and height (hp6300C)

Hello,

I'm wondering why the the command
   scanimage --help -d hp
shows an x/y width/height corresponding to
DIN A4, whereas the scanner supports a
larger range (at least under windows).
Is there a possibility to use it?
