[sane-devel] hp-backend not compiled with PTAL support

Hello,

you still may have the old SANE libraries at /usr/lib, whereas the new 
libraries are now at /usr/local/sane/lib. If you had installed SANE from 
your Linux distribution, first remove that installation.
You may need to add the directory of the new libraries in /etc/ld.so.conf.
