HELP!!!!!!!!!! - NOT AGAIN!!!!!!
Those d**n manufactures, by using similar names they make us believe
that same or similar hardware is inside those cheap scanners...
The HP2300C does not contain a LM983x chip, see my mail on this list
"HP2300C chipset":
Sparrow Main Board V1.2 12-00080-01C with two Chips:
26-00122-03A <------- ASIC ???
0213E2FC1
and
EliteMT 100MHz <------ MEMORY
M11B416256A -J25J
DZC1HC031 0212
Sparrow CCD Board 12-00079-01A with
MM74HC04M
I've not idetified the scanner chip so far...
So here you will have rather the same trouble like you'll have with
the Scanport device... - the scanner is not supported...
Sorry for the bad news, but I suggest to ask prior buying a scanner.
Cheers
Gerhard
