It's not intentional, but I don't always have the time to update the
page immediately and as a result they can get missed.

Once upon a time they did include copies of the firmware...

Probably. Though as many USB scanner drivers exist even when the manufacturer
refuses to help, and most USB scanners seem to be variants of a small subset
of scanner chipsets this seems to be something of a moot point these days.

Looking at the page I think I really need to make the table automatically
generated from a database. Project for Christmas holidays, if I get the
time.
