I don't think it's a problem. This is only implemented for some
platforms and provides support for the "scsi VENDOR MODEL ..." lines
in the config files. If you manually add your device (/dev/uk0) int
umax.conf or set the link /dev/scanner to /dev/uk0 it should work.
