Hello Michal,
this function is not included in the gtk slider functions and there is no
quick solution for this.
I also do not see the need for this, can you explain the
situation where you/your co-workers need this.
Do you know the "auto enhance" button and the shadow/highlight sliders
of xsane?
If you scan negatives/slides you better should define medium types in which
contrast, brightness and gamma are stored for each color separately.
This also can be used for othe media like photos, but I do not know if
a common medium definition is applicably, but you should try.
