It should be installed on your system. Otherwise you can't load kernel
modules.

That's the name of the package (maybe something like "module
utilities" or a variation of it). It contains commands like
"modprob", "insmod" and "rmmod".

Try "which modprobe". Maybe it's not in /sbin/?
