So hpusbscsi is not loaded. Please execute "modprobe hpusbscsi"

Hm? Are you sure your scanner is connected? The should be a "connected
device bla bla" message ...

Hm. What do you mean here? I can write some details how to patch (the
source-code - not the windows-binary patches), and recompile SANE with
my latest backend.
