Hello,
I've installed the latest release of sane, but nothing changed :-(
My Epson GT-6000 was found by sane-find-scanner, but
  scanimage -L gives a
"[epson] Extended status flag request failed".
  Some Information about my machine:
     Linux Kernel 2.2.18
     I've 2 SCSI-Controllers, the scanner is connected to a
Tekram DC390/AM53C974 PCI SCSI Host Adapter, Driver Version 2.0f
I've tried to set SANE_EPSON_CMD_LVL to B3, but with no success.
When I set SANE_DEBUG_EPSON to 128, I get the following:
---- Begin of Output
[sanei_debug] Setting debug level of epson to 128.

No scanners were identified. If you were expecting something
different,
check that the scanner is plugged in, turned on and detected by the
sane-find-scanner tool (if appropriate). Please read the documentation
which came with this software (README, FAQ, manpages).
---- End of Output

The Scanner works perfectly on another Computer with W98 as BS.
Any suggestions, what I can do?

Best regards
