[sane-devel] iscan vs rh7.3, won't even configure!

Has anyone managed to get this to work on a redhat 7.3 system yet?  

If so, how?

I just had to scan in some geneology stuff about 70 years old, paper 
well toward brown in tone and somewhat stained, with butt-ugly 
results using home built 1.07 on my Epson 1250u.  It sure would be 
nice to have a standard calibration available.
