[sane-devel] Changes to description file handling

Hi,

I have just committed the patch discussed some days ago. The list of
backends is now splitted into internal and external backends.

Please check if I haven't broken anything as the commits wre rather
large.

Use "cvs update -d" to be sure to get the new directories.

The format of the .desc files in doc/descriptions-external is the same
as before, only the version and manpage keywords are ignored and the
status can't be :NEW. 

I have changed the teco.desc to alpha, if this is nor appropriate,
change to whatever you think, Frank :-)


To generate the lists (if you have xemacs):

./configure
cd doc
make sane-backends.html
make sane-backends-external.html
