Hi Henning,

'scanimage -L' gives me the following:
device 'snapscan:/dev/usb/scanner0' is a Acer FlatbedScanner16 flat bed
scanner
I found on Internet that file u64v119.bin is the firmware for this
scanner, so I changed snapscan.conf file entering the address and name
of this file (/mnt/win_c/windows/usbbin/u64v119.bin).
However wen I run scanimage -d snapscan:/dev/usb/scanner0 the scanner
start to make some noise and I got the following:
scanimage: sane_start: Error during device I/O
Also I made a directory /home/myname/driverscanner.bin/ and placed here
the firmware file and changed again the address in snapscan.conf file.
By the way I made 'chmod 777 snapscan.conf' and 'chmod 777 u64v119.bin'
in both addresses, but the answer is the same.
