Why? You knew, that it is not supported by SANE, didn't you? That's
why we have the lists for supported scanners on the SANE webpage.

I don't think so.

Search the mailing list archive, it's mentioned in some mails.. There
are logs from that scanner, but I don't know if anyone is really
working on supporting it.

No, return the scanner to your vendor and get a supported one. Or
write a backend for it, this would be greatly appreciated.
