I remembered that just a few seconds after sending the email...btw...I
solved compiling the 1.0.9 backend sources. On debian stable there is the
1.0.7, so I moved the libsane 1.0.7 away and linked the 1.0.9 (calling it
1.0.7 as the system wants) and all works now ;)
