I have received a good mail as follows:

Dear Mitsuru,

I have no problems with RH7.1 using sane 1.0.8 (I think) but I use a PCI
SCSI card (the details of which elude me). I can get this if you want.

I think a cause of this problem will be
1. a difference between an isa scsi and a pci scsi.
2. a peculiar problem of the Mandrake 9.0.

How would you think about this thought?
