I've tested the pre2 backends (I guess that's the latest snapshot) on
various platforms. It builds OK on:
- SunOS 5.7 on sun4u with gcc 2.95.2, but not tested
- Debian GNU/Linux woody on Alpha ev56 with gcc 2.95.4, tested with
net backend
Lots of compiler warnings, too many to fix now, but I'll look into it
whenever I have more time.
Sorry I couldn't test Tru64 this time because the computer I have
access to is messed up (DEC's own cc complains about invalid
statements in DEC's own header files).
