the Maxi Scan A4 SCSI is supported by the SnapScan backend.=20
Unfortunately there is no support at all for parallel port scanners=20
in the backend.

Agfa seems to use it's own parallel-SCSI converter which is=20
incompatible to other similar devices, and (needless to say) there's=20
no documentation available. I'd assume the same is true for=20
Guillemot.

As far as I can see the only solution is reverse-engineering the=20
parallel port protocol (possibly by using a logic analyzer) and=20
writing a kernel driver for it.=20
