better than expected: EPPSCSI under Windows 98 installs a "virtual" SCSI
controller, and then the scanner is set-up with the name "Color
FlatbedScanner 11".
Seems like SnapScan supported scanners, but using parallel port.
I have also a list of (probably) firmware, but I don't know the one that
should be used

could this be useful for now?

I'm trying to check what the computer send to the scanner, but I have some
problems, because the portmon program is bypassed by EPPSCSI miniport, so I
need a SCSI debugger now.
