Right. The Ids from the PrimaScan 2600u seem to be right. I got them
from a usenet article:

But he also writes "E5" in the chipset column (?).

That was just a guess based on the E1.ini and viceo.dll that were
provided by the Windows driver. I don't know, if there is an E1
chipset at all.

Is this typical for a lm983x scanner:

T: Bus=01 Lev=01 Prnt=01 Port=01 Cnt=01 Dev#= 7 Spd=12 MxCh= 0
D: Ver= 1.00 Cls=00(>ifc ) Sub=00 Prot=00 MxPS= 8 #Cfgs= 1
P: Vendor=0461 ProdID=0347 Rev= 0.04
S: Manufacturer=Primax
S: Product=USB Scanner
C:* #Ifs= 1 Cfg#= 1 Atr=40 MxPwr= 48mA
I: If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 2 Cls=10(unk. ) Sub=01 Prot=00 Driver=usbscanner
E: Ad=81(I) Atr=02(Bulk) MxPS= 64 Ivl=0ms
E: Ad=02(O) Atr=02(Bulk) MxPS= 64 Ivl=0ms

I'm a bit surprised about the interface calss of 0x10.

Bye,
  Henning
