[sane-devel] Color not consistent or correct

Info : RedHat 7.3, sane-backends-1.0.10.tar.gz,
sane-frontends-1.0.10.tar.gz, xsane-0.90.tar.gz

Scanning negative color film, Fuji negative setting, the
preview looks reasonably close to real-life, but when I final
scan the image has a different color range. Repeated scans all
vary in color from each other, none being the same as the
preview, some in reversed colors. What am I doing wrong?
