For 1.0.9 the device is not listed at all. For 1.0.10 it is listed as
untested.

Can you provide more details? Is it detecetd correctly? What's the
debug output of the following command:

SANE_DEBUG_AVISON=255 scanimage >image.pnm

It is untested. Maybe the backend author knows more about this?
