[sane-devel] xsane doesn't turn off lamp when running as non-root

If i run xsane as root user, closing xsane turns of the scanners lamp.
If i run as a non-root user, the lamps stays one when closing xsane. 

After closing xsane, lamp can still be on 5-10 minutes later.

Work around is to stop xsane, start it again (which turns off lamp) and 
then stop xsane.

I'm using a hp2200c/usb + plustek backend. plustek.conf is below :
