If it's a USB scanner, you may be able to replace the USB ids
(there are two, a 16-bit vendor and a 16-bit product id) of the HR7LE
with the ids of your scanner. You can find your own ids by using
tools like lsusb or usbview.

I'm not familiar with this backend, so I don't know exactly where
to find them. Probably in the .conf file or perhaps hardcoded
in the sources.
