[sane-devel] compiling newer kernel with support for HP ScanJet 4c

I am compiling a new kernel, hoping to get 2.4.20 working on my system. My
scanner is an HP ScanJet 4c with HP SCSI interface card, with the symbios
drivers (at least that's what I recall loading when I had it working fine
under Winders).

I want to make sure that I compile in the support for my scanner when I next
compile 2.4.20. What do I need to include, are there any patches that I need
to apply? Help....
