[sane-devel] how to develop new backend

Hi, everybody,

I'm a french user of an HP scanjet 3570c and I want to use it under linux. actually I must have a windows only for the scanner, awfull !!.

But I've seen that there are no backend for this scanner.

I've some knowlegde in programming and I want to know how to develop a backend for sane for my scanner.

Could you help or send to me a HOW-to or a document explaining how to develop a sane backend ?
