	Hello,

	the only constraints are for some advanced options which must be enabled
before being used. But there is none on color mode, resolution and geometry.A

	A full pink picture is strange. I'd be interested by a log holding the
messages produced by doing 'export SANE_DEBUG_UMAX_PP_LOW=255' and launching your
frontend from the same shell.
