[sane-devel] no grayscale or black-white in XSane options,sane-backends-1.0.14, xsane-0.95

Hi,

i have a problem with sane-backends-1.0.14. It works fine, but i have no 
grayscale or black-and white mode in XSane options. My scannner is a 
canon FB 636U USB flatbed scanner. I have Suse 9.0 with kooka and sane.

Then i have downloaded sane-backends-1.0.14 and sane-frontends-1.0.12 
and xsane-0.95
and compiled it and it works also.
I scan only in mode Colour. But there is no Option to scan with 
grayscale in xsane.

The options i see:
Save
Copy
Fax
Email

Full Colour
Dia
Standard Negativ
Agfa Negativ
Agfa Negativ XRG 200-4
Agfa Negativ HDC 100
Fuji Negativ
Kodak Negativ
Konica Negativ
Konica Negativ VX 100
Rossman Negativ HR 100

Resolution:
75, 150, 300, 600 dpi

Thats all.

What is the reason.
Can you please help me?
